TO all MP's & MLA's
Regarding the partial treatment given in this city to Suburban Mumbai & South Mumbai
Recently all the newspapers came up with front page stories about how did commuters in south Mumbai faced a nightmarish journey because repair work on pedder road & diversion of traffic & one way walkeshwar rd. How our busy politicians & industrialist complaint to chief minster who has no other work except acting as their loyal servant, ordered BMC to stop the work immediately. Why are we giving so much importance to the south mumbaite …have they come from heaven…r they paying more taxes compared to others in this city…why ????aren’t people in other parts of city suffering from traffic,congestion,pollution…why is media to soft & favorable when it comes to south Mumbai…r they filling ur coffers wid advertisements…..attack on taj & oberio was a national issue but train bomb blast & ghatkopar blast were forgotten the very next day….
I have followings points/questions against the said partialism to media-press-& our loyal servants of society “politicians”. Let me enlighten the problems faced in my residential area andheri (west)..
The most crowded & congested station in Mumbai…doesn’t it deserves an urgent skyover on both sides of station….
Try to fetch an auto from the station & you can win an oscar….why cant we have stricter norms…place a full time traffic cop to make sure there is no congestion & everyone get the auto by queue system….
The most reputed Mumbai Metro project has already taken couple of lives….come an experience the walk from station to JP Road….its full of dust, noise & simply no place to walk on the road.. the so called foot paths are captured either by shopkeepers or hawkers….or they are private vehicles of shopkeepers parked infront of their shops…..turst me its high time to remove hawkers & demolish illegal verandahs of shopkeepers from this entire stretch, make it a no parking zone & make it one way or it will claim more lives… Is this a rocket scientist job that our bureaucrats cant do this much ??? Shame on the system…
Can we remove the hawkers from the station road…try to come out of station & you are welcomed by screaming hawkers who block the entire entrance & exit gates of station in front of our brave corrupt police….can we have one Mr Khairnar in our city ?????
Please try & understand the station is the lifeline for all suburbanites …& if that is maintained ..it will really solve lot of time & problems for them.
I request the press & media to try & pick any suburban station of mumbai & all will have the same problems …why cant u ask the politicians who come begging for votes to solve these issues of mumbaikar…rather then taking orders from south mumbaities. Try to pick one suburb….focus on it problems in details …make local ward officers, MLA’s, MP aware about it & ask them to solve them or simply stop begging for votes….its your moral duty to enlighten the problems of aam admi & not only page 3 celebrities….try to work for better Mumbai …..
